
In term of creativity Balinese people are the best, these large paper mache is the prove most of them are in form of devils, giants(bhuta), it cost a lot of money to make one, these effigies are made to be paraded around the village as a procession before Nyepi (silent day) and in the end of the procession they would burn these effigies as a sign that the evils have been neutralized.

Reog, genuinely come from Ponorogo East Java, performing in Bali during Gajah Mada Street Festival 2009.
Reog is one of the original culture in Indonesia which has very strong mysticism. the art it self displayed a lion’s head mask shape known as the “SingaBarong “, the king of the jungle. a man that perform it has to rely on the strength of his teeth to carry about 50 kg lion head shape mask.
